About Us.

Sporting Deerfield Football Club is a nonprofit, community-first soccer club based in Deerfield Beach, Florida. We were founded on a simple promise: soccer for everyone. Too many talented players step away from the game because of cost, logistics, or lack of access—so we built a club that removes those barriers. Membership is 100% free to join for players ages 17–40, and the only potential expenses are optional, low-cost items like jerseys and gameday fees when a league season or friendly requires them. Our goal is to make competitive football accessible without compromising standards, professionalism, or ambition.

Tactical

Mindset

The club operates with an inclusive selection model that places players on one of two squads—A Team and B Team—based on current ability and readiness. This structure keeps training purposeful, minutes meaningful, and competition fair. Players move fluidly between squads as they develop: a strong run of form, improved fitness, or tactical growth can earn opportunities at the next level, while returning from injury or building sharpness might mean targeted minutes with the B Team. Either way, everyone trains with intention and plays with pride for the same badge.

Our philosophy blends competitive fire with a developmental mindset. Training sessions emphasize technical repetition, positional understanding, and modern game principles—pressing and counter-pressing, building from the back, transitional speed, set-piece detail, and game management. We work on football IQ as much as first touch: decision-making, communication, leadership, and resilience under pressure. Fitness is integrated, not isolated; we want players to be strong enough to compete and smart enough to conserve energy when it matters. Above all, we cultivate a culture where effort, attitude, and accountability are non-negotiable.

Serving The

Community

As a nonprofit, we exist to serve players and the wider Deerfield Beach community. We welcome athletes from diverse backgrounds and experience levels, including those returning to the game after time away. Our environment is intentionally respectful and safe: we enforce a clear code of conduct, expect punctuality and professionalism, and value the type of character that lifts teammates. Whether you’re aiming to test yourself in a competitive setting or simply want to represent your city with pride, you’ll find a place here.

Community support helps us keep the program free. When individuals or local businesses step up—covering field rentals, training equipment, or jersey subsidies—it directly expands access for players who otherwise might not afford to compete. Volunteers are equally vital: matchday coordinators, photographers, first-aid support, and logistics helpers make a real difference. If you’re a supporter who wants to contribute time, expertise, or resources, we’d love to hear from you.

Front office involvement

and structure

Leadership and stability underpin everything we do. Manager & Owner Noah Chatoo brings 2+ years of coaching experience and a hands-on approach to player development and team identity. He’s supported by Chairman Jackson Chinni, who oversees governance and long-term vision, Club President Dmitry Mushlin, who coordinates operations and partnerships, and Assistant Coach Indiana Smith, who focuses on session design and individual feedback. Together they work to keep the club organized, transparent, and player-focused while building sustainable pathways for competition.

We schedule friendlies, cup entries, and league participation as resources allow, always with the aim of giving players meaningful minutes and a steady rhythm of football. Recruitment is ongoing due to the natural ebb and flow of local football and the disbanding of previous teams in the area. New players can expect a straightforward onboarding process: share your details, attend an open session, and we’ll place you at the right level to grow. From there, the pathway is clear—train hard, perform consistently, and opportunities will follow.
